Our Christmas adventure begins with a drive to the gorgeous Rhine Valley where we'll stop at Rheinstein Castle, beautifully adorned in Christmas decorations and holiday splendor. The Lady of the house will welcome us with a steaming mug of hot mulled wine, made from the region’s grape varietals and take in panoramic view over the most romantic part of the Rhine River while enjoying the amazing flavors that were harvested in the valley below. The self-guided tour through the castle will delve into the history of Lords, Ladies & Knights in one of the areas grand castles.

After thoroughly exploring the castle, we will head down to the river to board our riverboat and enjoy the view from the river. History and tradition make themselves known as we cruise along seeing the faces of other grand fortresses tucked along the edge of the Rhine. Our final destination will be the port of Rüdesheim and from here, we invite you to experience the magic of the Christmas season by strolling through the famous Christmas Market of the Nations. During free time we encourage everyone to taste more of the famous locally made mulled wines paired with the delicious regional food, tasting the much-praised Rhine romance in every single bite & sip. Every year Rüdesheim invites more than 100 vendors to present their wares; ensuring visitors will find the perfect holiday gift!
