Celebrating the Riesling Wine in Rüdesheim/Rhine

Our adventure begins with a drive into the beautiful Rhine Valley to the famous wine town of Rüdesheim. This section of the valley is known as the Romantic Rhine and is dotted with castles and castle ruins steeped in legend. Here, we will board a riverboat for a short ride to visit Castle Burg Rheinstein. Perched high above the Rhine, the castle offers even more breathtaking views of the river and valley. After enjoying ample time for an in-depth self-guided tour of the castle, including the interior, we will cruise back to Rüdesheim enjoying the scenery along the river.

Food and culinary heritage are always major highlights of any festival in Germany. We celebrate with the sound of swing grills creaking, mouth-watering sausages sizzling and popping, and clinking wine glasses, merrily chanting 'Prost der Gesundheit' (cheers and to good health). This weekend is dedicated to the local Riesling Wine, so we invite you to explore the festival, sample the region's many outstanding wines, and take the opportunity to purchase wines from a variety of local vendors to add to your personal collection!

All participants must be in possession of a valid US tourist passport during the tour.

German law requires ALL child passengers, regardless of size or age, to have a seat on a bus and use an approved safety seat provided by the customer.
