Immerse yourself in a kaleidoscope of color and culture with a special 3-day getaway to the Netherlands. This journey, perfectly timed for spring, is a flower enthusiast's dream, showcasing the world-renowned Keukenhof Gardens alongside the historic charm of Amsterdam. Experience the best of Dutch heritage at a relaxed pace, all at a fantastic price.
Day 1: Palaces, Justice, and Seaside Charm
Our adventure begins with an early morning departure, whisking you away to the Netherlands. The first stop on this grand tour is the distinguished international city of The Hague (Den Haag). As the capital of South Holland, it is globally recognized as the home of the United Nations' International Court of Justice, housed within the magnificent Vredespaleis, or "Peace Palace." Prepare to be captivated by the city's royal connections as we glimpse the Huis ten Bosch Palace, the majestic home of the Dutch Royal Family, and the Palace Noordeinde, the official seat of the Dutch Government. While The Hague is the political heart of the nation, it also boasts a rich cultural scene with world-class museums and bustling shopping districts. You'll find an abundance of welcoming bars and restaurants perfect for a midday pause. Should the weather permit, a visit to the famous Scheveningen beach offers a refreshing seaside escape.
After a day filled with exploration, we will retreat to our comfortable hotel near Breda. Take the time to freshen up before enjoying a delightful dinner, provided by the hotel, to cap off a perfect first day.
Day 2: A Symphony of Tulips
Today is dedicated to the undisputed star of the Dutch spring: the tulip. After a hearty breakfast at our hotel, we journey to the world-renowned Keukenhof Flower Gardens for a day of floral immersion. Keukenhof is an experience that awakens all senses with its sweet perfume of spring's most beautiful blossoms. Prepare to be mesmerized as you step into a living tapestry of millions of perennial bulbs, unfolding across meticulously designed outdoor landscapes and within stunning indoor pavilions.
Explore the many inspirational gardens and see a traditional Dutch windmill in action. For a truly unique perspective, glide silently through the park's canals on an optional whisper boat ride, admiring the stunning landscapes from water level. With ample free time, you can explore at your own pace or perhaps venture into the nearby quaint town of Lisse for a touch of local charm. As the day draws to a close, we'll return to our hotel for another relaxing dinner, reflecting on the magnificent colors and unforgettable beauty of Keukenhof.

Day 3: Clogs, Cheese, and Amsterdam's Canals
Our final day begins with breakfast before we check out and journey north for a delightful dose of Dutch tradition at the Clara Maria Farm. A charming, fourth-generation family business, the farm offers a unique glimpse into the soul of the Netherlands. Witness master craftsmen transform simple blocks of wood into iconic clogs and learn the secrets behind their delicious, artisanal Dutch cheese. The experience is made complete by savoring delicious cheese samples and browsing their shop for authentic wares and gifts.
