Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Dresden & Polish Pottery

9 Days / 8 Overnights
Explore all the bounties of Eastern Europe on this extended trip that takes you to Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Dresden and more.  This touring holiday is the perfect combination of sightseeing and shopping for amazing treasures including Polish Pottery, at a relaxed pace.

Day 1: Arrival in Berlin & Exploration

Our early departure from Ramstein ensures a midday arrival in Berlin. Upon checking into our hotel, you'll have time to refresh before the rest of the day is yours to explore. We'll save the main sightseeing for Sunday, when the city offers a more tranquil experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves in Berlin's vibrant atmosphere today. Your guide will provide restaurant recommendations, popular shopping districts, and must-visit museums to help you make the most of your free time.

Day 2: Historic Berlin City Tour

After enjoying breakfast provided by the Hotel, we will immerse ourselves in the sights and turbulent history of this once-divided city with an in-depth tour led by a local guide. The tour will feature iconic landmarks including the restored Reichstag, the magnificent Charlottenburg Palace, the monumental Brandenburg Gate, the poignant Holocaust Memorial, the Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten park, and the historic Checkpoint Charlie. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to discover more of what this vibrant city has to offer at your own pace

Day 3: Berlin - Warsaw

After breakfast and check out of the hotel we continue our adventure and cross the border into Poland on our way to Warsaw. A late afternoon arrival affords plenty of time to check in, enjoy dinner and perhaps check out some local nightlife.

Day 4: Warsaw

Today it is: “Witamy w Warszawie” welcome to Warsaw! We will visit picturesque marketplaces speckled with artists and street cafés, and the 237-metre Palace of Culture & Science resembling New York's Empire State Building. Unlike most Polish cities, Warsaw's townscape is largely contemporary with stylish glass buildings towering above older more historical constructions which is comparable to North American metropolises. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this modern city.

Day 5: From Warsaw to Royal Krakow

Following breakfast and check-out, we continue our Eastern European journey, heading south to the former royal capital of Krakow. After arrival at our new hotel, we store our luggage and meet a local guide for a stroll through the city's picturesque Old Town. Surrounded by historic townhouses and noble palaces, you will quickly discover why Krakow's medieval Market Square is celebrated as the largest and most beautiful in Europe. Afterward, you will have ample free time to explore before we regroup for a unique, hands-on experience: a cooking class where you'll learn from locals how to prepare their famous Pierogi.

Day 6: Krakow at Your Leisure

After breakfast at the hotel, the entire day is yours to explore Krakow at your own pace. Our local guide has provided a wealth of suggestions, so you may wish to visit Wawel Castle for an in-depth tour, enjoy some shopping, or indulge in the many culinary highlights the city has to offer.
