Christmas Surprise Trip

Kick off your holiday season with a little Christmas Surprise and join us for a day of fun at this spectacular Christmas mystery destination! Can you guess where we’re going? Our contest is over but for clues and answers were posted on the AFN Facebook page on 13 November.

This year’s mystery destination takes us to a charming city in the north, celebrated for its numerous wells and fountains. In December, the heart of this German town becomes one of the most picturesque and enchanting Christmas Market destinations in all of Germany. Our time here begins with a guided walking tour through the city center where we explore the exciting history and stunning sites such as the cathedral that has looked over the residents for over 1000 years. The market place becomes a Christmas wonderland, beckoning to shoppers with the alluring sweet aromas and the warm nostalgic of twinkling lights.

Once you’ve been properly introduced to our mystery destination enjoy some free time to browse through the impressive assortment of handmade Christmas decorations, seasonal crafts and pottery. This town has a long and proud tradition in baking, the sweet tasty goods produced by the master bakers are unrivaled favorites, especially during the holidays. As the evening draws near, we cap off the day stopping at one of the amazing bakeries for the delicious gingerbread found and learn all about the secrets from the master baker himself.
