Berlin

Join us a 3-day 2-overnight adventure to Berlin, the political and cultural capital of Germany. Berlin is steeped in culture, coupled with the recent urban social transformation creating an electric atmosphere and one of Europe’s most exciting cities to visit.  As soon as we arrive, we’ll dive right into the cities sights and turbulent history for an in depth tour with a local guide.  Our centrally located, four-star hotel, puts the entire city within easy reach of your doorstep allowing you to maximize your time here and freely enjoy this rich vibrant city!

Day 1: Early departure from Ramstein guarantees our midday arrival in Berlin. Upon arrival we will check in to our hotel with time to freshen up and before we meet up with our local guide for a sightseeing tour through this once divided metropolis. Our sightseeing tour will take us to all the popular sights including the Reichstag (Parliament Building), the famous Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Charlottenburg Palace and so much more. After working up an appetite we will visit the famous Nikolaiviertel (Nikolai-quarter) where we’ll finish up this exciting first day with a traditional dinner in one of Berlin’s oldest Restaurants.      

Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our day getting to know Berlin in more detail from a different vantage point on a cruise down the famous Spree River.  Our route will take us right through the center of town, past the famous Museums Island, the Dom of Berlin and the Government District. The remainder of the day is yours to freely explore the city, allowing you to see additional attractions mentioned by our local guide, do some shopping or visit other sites you may have had on your list.

Day 3: After breakfast and check out of from the hotel we will visit the Museum Berlin, most importantly known for the Pergamon Museum. The museum houses three museums in one: the Antiquities Collection, the Near Eastern Museum and the Museum of Islamic Art.  Here you will find works of art from Greek and Roman antiquity, including the grand architectural reconstructions of the colorful Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way of Babylon from the time of Nebuchadnezzar.  From here we say goodbye to this amazing city and begin the journey home, allowing you to relax and unwind from your exciting adventure in Berlin.
