Castle Hohenzollern & ChocolART Festival

Our first stop takes us to the grandiose ancestral seat of the Prussian Royal House of the Hohenzollern Princes. The magnificent Castle Hohenzollern sits perched, three thousand feet high on the peak of Hohenzollern Mountain, often nested in a pillow of clouds. The Castle, costumed revelers and traditional palace music creates a one of a kind, magical Christmas atmosphere. The vivid Christmas Market extends from the streets into the famous castle halls offering beautiful accessories, hand crafted holiday decor and the most exquisite holiday delicacies. Our day will have a sweet finish in the town of Tübingen at the huge “ChocolART” chocolate festival where almost an acre of sweetness is waiting to be sampled and explored. Indulge your sweet tooth with praline courses, cocoa painting, chocolate workshops and more.

Required Documents

All participants must be in possession of a valid US tourist passport during the tour.

Child Safety

German law requires ALL child passengers, regardless of size or age, to have a seat on a bus and use an approved safety seat provided by the customer.

Additional Info

This tour requires a moderate amount of walking on cobblestone streets.
Christmas Markets are NOT stroller friendly environments, for this reason we advise parents to not bring children under 3 years of age on these trips.
