Haunted Halloween Dinner

At The Mystery Castle

Tonight, we celebrate “All Hollow’s Eve” covid-proof with a ghoulish twist. Enjoy a night of delight at a famous mystery castle!  This occasion calls for costumes and everyone to be “dressed to kill,” with the most fiendishly creative ensemble being awarded a special prize!  As the daylight fades, we kick off the evening with a bloody welcome drink, served at body temperature, just as the creatures of the night prefer.  A delicious snack of by baked chestnuts and lard bread will be served as an accompaniment.

We invite you to stroll the castle grounds, now ablaze in a damning glow and enjoy the stunning views from atop the castle ramparts.  Dinner begins with a salad of assorted weeds, followed by a bloody beef tenderloin smothered in witches mushroom cream sauce with croquettes of the damned and for dessert an assortment of Halloween candy will be offered (vegetarian lasagna option available on request).

The “Catwalk of Horrors” will provide everyone a chance to strut their stuff and formally enter to win the RTT prize for most horrific costume 2020. As a special Halloween treat, a limited number of signed posters by the “Game of Thrones” graphic artist Sven Sauer will be available for purchase.

The highlight of the evening will be an exclusive look behind the scenes of more than 40 years of Halloween history at our soon to be revealed Mystery Castle. The “Back Stage” Halloween History Exhibition shows a journey through time with countless photos and videos from past Halloween horrors that have swept through this famous castle. Former actors that played the parts of monsters, witches, hangmen and horror clowns talk about their unusual hobbies and provide a behind the scenes look into the horror festivals this castle has hosted for many, many, years.

Crypt Keepers Challenge:

Can you guess the name of the mystery castle that is hosting our event?
