Prepare to be amazed by a region where culinary innovation meets cutting-edge design and fascinating museums whisper tales of Viking history. On this tour we will visit northern castles, cities centers radiating with Christmas lights and uncover the northern secrets of "Hygge", a philosophy that celebrates the art of joyful living by savoring life's simple pleasures.

Day 1: Mini Cruise, Kiel - Oslo

Our adventure begins! Today, we travel directly from Ramstein to our first destination: the Port of Kiel . Following check-in to our pre-arranged rooms and a brief orientation, it's time to set sail on our comfortable and luxurious ferry . Spend some time strolling along the 120-meter promenade, which is lined with an array of shops, restaurants, pubs, and cafes. This evening, indulge in an Smorgasbord buffet featuring a delicious selection of typical Northern delicacies. Refreshed and ready for the night ahead, a table awaits you in the ship's own "Show Lounge," where you can enjoy the music and entertainment. Later, be sure to stop by the Palazzo Nightclub for a dance or two.

Day 2: Oslo Fjord - Oslo

Following an early breakfast, we highly recommend layering up and heading to the top deck to witness the raw beauty of the Oslofjord as the ship navigates its course. Be captivated by the picturesque coastline and the surrounding islands – a truly breathtaking panorama. Once we've docked, we'll embark on start on a three-hour sightseeing tour through this magical northern metropolis. After discovering what Oslo has to offer, we'll check into our well-appointed Hotel, perfectly situated for independent exploration. During your free time, we encourage you to visit the Royal Palace, explore a traditional Nordic cathedral, or simply wander through the downtown area, immersing yourself in the unique northern atmosphere. Let the city's charm work its magic!

Day 3: Örebro Castle - Stockholm

After a delightful breakfast, we journey to Stockholm, crossing the verdant landscapes of Norway and Sweden. En route, we'll stop at Örebro, a city on Lake Hjälmaren a harmonious blend of captivating history and contemporary charm. Our visit includes a guided tour of the castle "Örebro Slott", a 14th-century castle evolved from a formidable stronghold into a resplendent palace. During free time we encourage to explore Wadköping, a picturesque Old Town with 17th-century houses, artisan shops, and cafes. We'll have ample time for sightseeing and lunch.

Finally, we'll reach Stockholm, uniquely situated on fourteen islands at the meeting of Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. Just offshore lies a sprawling archipelago comprising approximately 24,000 islands, both grand and diminutive—the largest such formation in Sweden. With its stunning location and magnificent buildings, Stockholm is a must-see. Upon arrival, we'll check into our hotel and enjoy dinner.

Day 4: Stockholm

Refreshed from a good night's rest and fortified by a hearty breakfast, we'll meet our local guide for a captivating city tour. Among the numerous highlights, we'll encounter venerable churches, aristocratic palaces, and the picturesque old town of Gamla Stan. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure. Perhaps consider a visit to the City Hall (Stadshuset), the prestigious venue where the Nobel Prizes are awarded annually?

Day 5: Stockholm

Today, Stockholm awaits your independent exploration. Numerous museums merit a visit, such as the Vasa Museum, where you can marvel at the magnificent, intricately carved warship Vasa. This vessel, tragically sinking in the harbor during its maiden voyage in 1628, remained submerged for over 300 years before being salvaged.

Day 6: Gränna - Copenhagen

Today, we're positively brimming with excitement! After an early breakfast, we begin our southward journey towards Denmark and our final destination, Copenhagen. A delightful stop awaits us in the charming town of Gränna, renowned as the birthplace of those quintessential holiday treats: candy canes! Here, in this delightful "Candy Cane Village," or "Polkagris" as the Swedes call it, we'll visit a traditional candy maker who will reveal the secrets behind this delectable creation. It all began with Amalia Eriksson, a Swedish woman seeking a remedy for her ailing daughter. By incorporating peppermint oil, she crafted a medicinal relief that evolved into the famous and delicious candy cane we know and love.

After ample free time for shopping and a light lunch, we'll continue south towards Copenhagen, the seat of the Danish government, parliament, and residence of the royal family. Following our arrival and check-in, we'll gather for a well-deserved dinner, reflecting on the sweet discoveries of the day.

Day 7: Copenhagen

Refreshed from a restful night and invigorated by a hearty breakfast, we eagerly embark on another day of exciting exploration. Our day commences with a guided tour of the illustrious Danish capital, showcasing its magnificent buildings and captivating squares. During our sightseeing excursion, we'll behold the iconic Little Mermaid, and pass several magnificent castles nestled within the city center, including Castle Amalienborg, boasting its impressive Palace Square.

The afternoon is yours to discover at your own leisure. We highly recommend a visit to Nyhavn (New Harbor), a captivating 17th-century waterfront and vibrant entertainment district. Marvel at the picturesque canal dotted with historical wooden ships and indulge in some local delicacies, such as Smorrebrod (the renowned open-faced sandwiches), delectable Danish pastries, and the freshest seafood.

Day 8: Return to Ramstein

After breakfast and hotel checkout, the moment we've been hoping to delay has arrived: It's time to begin our journey home, bidding a bittersweet farewell to those enchanting Northern cities.
