German beer culture is famous the world over for bringing together like-minded people to laugh, prost and smile while enjoying the highest quality beer - something we know everyone is craving after this long period of isolation. As current restrictions don’t allow us to take you to experience the sights and flavors of our favorite breweries in the traditional way, we have found a way to bring that experience directly to you!
In Germany, beer brewing transcends commerce and business, and is considered a form of art with centuries of proud history. This online event will take us on a virtual journey to the Vulkaneifel, (Volcanic Eifel) a region similar to Yellowstone, made up of a large cluster of sleeping volcanoes, and home to the Vulkan Brewery. Here they proudly brew assortment of very special, award winning ales, created deep underground with mineral rich water that has risen through countless layers of prehistoric volcanic rock.
While we taste this carefully fermented ale, we will learn first-hand about the artisan brewing process, passion and creativity that has fueled the success of Vulkan Beer. We will also learn how the brewery combines craft, heritage, and nature’s elemental forces to create this one-of-a-kind ale that is sought after by serious beer connoisseurs the world over. During the tasting we will also embark on a virtual exploration of the deepest beer storage and fermentation cellar in the world, a subterranean labyrinth that resides 98 feet underground.
This online event will allow you to embrace the very best of German beer culture from the comfort, ease, and safety of your own home. We invite you to join us for an evening of reconnecting with people who appreciate the fine craft of brewing, an educational guided tasting of delicious local beer and an amazing opportunity to learn about one of the world’s most unique breweries.
