Join us on this festive trip to Strasbourg and the oldest Christmas market in France, fondly called Christkindelmarkt or “Market of the Infant Jesus." During the Advent season, Strasbourg is warmly lit with the nostalgic glow of thousands of lanterns. Different traditional markets are located everywhere the eye can see, for example a Christmas Child’s paradise and the Petite France invite you to explore the variety of wares, French craftsmanship and holiday decorations.

The city of Strasbourg is regarded as the bridge of unity between modern France and Germany and the food found here reflects this blended of culture, with sauerkraut being just as popular as crepes. During your visit walk the many markets, sample the various foods in the cafes and stalls and be sure to visit the amazing cathedral with some of the most impressive examples of stained glass in Europe. Enjoy the scents of mulled wine “vin chaud," mixed with other French specialties while you experience the warm and generous Alsatian Christmas spirit.

German law requires ALL child passengers, regardless of size or age, to have a seat on a bus and use an approved safety seat provided by the customer.

Christmas Markets are NOT stroller friendly environments, for this reason we advise parents to not bring children under 3 years of age on these trips.
This tour requires a moderate amount of walking on cobblestone streets.
