Overview:
RTT will delight you with a 6-day tour including many of the highlights
of Northern Scotland, and ending in Edinburgh for the Military Tattoo.

See the whole performance from your reserved seats the military bands,
choruses and gymnasts from all over the world who come to astound the
spectators in front of Edinburgh Castle. Every year over one million

Day 1:
Travel directly from Ramstein Air Base with our RTT Tour Escort on
the airport shuttle or meet the group at the Frankfurt Airport prior for
check in. Fly from Frankfurt to Edinburgh and enjoy an orientation to
Edinburgh city and a tour into one of the hidden historical corners of
underground Edinburgh in the Real Mary Kings Close! Transfer to your hotel
in the area of Edinburgh. Evening meal and overnight at your hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast in your hotel drive further to the gateway of the Grampian
mountains and Blair Castle, the white fairytale castle from the 13th
century which is still allowed its own private army still today. After your
castle visit, explore one of the few distilleries still in private hands
Edradour Distillery - where you can explore and taste the product. With a
drive past scenic mountain views you will reach your hotel in the area of
Inverness. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast in your hotel, the Loch Ness monster legends
will accompany you as the boat excursion in Drumnadrochit searches for
Nessie. Take some fantastic photos at the Urquard Castle and wander the
streets of the Highlands capitol of Inverness. Evening meal and
overnight at your hotel.
Day 4:
Breakfast in your hotel begins the day of exploration into the highlands
toward Loch Ness. Todays highlights are not only the gigantic towering
rock formations of the Ben Nevis, but Fort William and the drive along
the king of Scottish Lochs, Loch Lomond. An exceptional opportunity awaits you with
a visit to Stirling Castle. Evening meal and overnight at your hotel in
the area of Edinburgh.
Day 5:
After breakfast in your hotel, a local guide will present
you the historical and cultural details of Edinburgh, along with tales of
local personages and legends of Scotland. The afternoon is free to
experience Edinburgh, as you wish. From the Castle and the Royal Mile to
the royal residence at Holyrood Palace, from the Dynamic Earth to the
elegant shops on Princes Street, you will have the chance to explore
Edinburgh and experience the exuberant lifestyle for yourself - in shops or
in pubs, as you like it! Maybe youll decide to visit Edinburgh Castle the formidable fortress which dominates the city.
Military Tattoo tickets for the event tonight are included in your tour
package. A bus awaits for the transfer to and from the Tattoo event. Dinner
and hotel overnight in the Edinburgh area.
Day 6:
After breakfast in your hotel and check out, transfer to the airport for
your return flight to Frankfurt.
