in the Mosel River Valley behind a few rocky hills is the charming town
of Cochem. This quaint town has something for everyone. Discover the

claims it to be the castle of Sleeping Beauty.
Itinerary:
After arriving in Cochem, take time to explore the
Christmas market and the stores throughout the walking zone with their
holiday wares. Meet the RTT guide to walk up to the castle for an
informative tour, followed by a medieval-style dinner in the Knight’s
Dining Room. Dinner consists of rye bread with lard spread, beef soup,
a turkey leg, flat bread, cheese, nuts and grapes. Wine will be served
in a wine mug, which you take home as a souvenir of the evening’s
excitement. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
During the meal, relax with entertainment and stories about medieval
table manners and eating habits, and with songs by travelling
minstrels. The highlight of the evening is the Knight Games, with lots
of fun for everyone!
Return to point of origin at approximately 1 a.m.
