Overview:   Join RTT Travel for the first in these events of 2012 for the military travel family! Spend the day on a walk through the Rheinhessen wine country and experience beverages, appetizers, main courses and desserts specific to the region and the local culinary experts. After the initial RTT events were such spectacular successes, we are lucky to be able to offer this package exclusively to our RTT customers!

In a walk of between 5 and 10 kilometers, you will get to sample food and drink that has made this region famous.  Approximately 10 catering stands will have small and larger samples for sale.  RTT passengers will receive a Weinpass booklet for purchasing at the various vendors, and a tasting glass for sampling the local wines.   This “Weinpass” gives participants an overview of the walking path and the culinary points along the way.   Guests will also receive a distinctive present for their participation. The walking path is perfectly accessible for both young and old.  Strollers are welcome.    Entertainment opportunities make the day joyful for all participants.  Music groups will make the countryside sing!  Kids will find fun with a jumping castle and other child-friendly activities.

So, get casual. Wear your walking shoes. Dress for the weather.  Come and be a part of the newest trend in Europe!  Eat and drink your way across the vineyards and valleys of Rheinhessen!
